Mrs B benefits from a new UPVC porch complimented by a solid composite front door
Mrs B of Sale needed to replace her existing upvc porch, it was tired and dated, the handles were loose and the door lock wasn't operating correctly which left the front of the house insecure. It also had a high door threshold which made it difficult for her to enter the house.
Bayfield were contacted. The porch was replaced incorporating a wheelchair friendly level threshold which gave her peace of mind regarding easy access and no chance of tripping. A high security contemporary solid composite door with 8 point locking system was added to increase security. upvc frames were used which were glazed with high performance glazing providing Mrs B an "A" rated energy efficient totally secure porch.
Mrs B also wanted to improve the insulation of the roof. Bayfield removed the existing ugly large tiles, insulated the roof using 75mm Kingspan before replacing the tiles with more appropriate smaller rosemary tile. The old soffits were also replaced with soffits, fascia's and cladding in Upvc , making the porch secure, stylish and warm.
“ I can’t believe what a difference the porch has made, it has transformed the front of my home, everything is so much warmer and I feel really secure. I would definitely recommend Bayfield the lads were lovely and have done a superb job" Mrs B said
